How do nominations work?To nominate a meme, simply comment a name of a meme that started or peaked in the month we are voting for. Please add a link to an example of a meme you are nominating. Any duplicates, or any comments that are not memes, will be removed. Upvote all of the memes you thought were dank at its peak this month. We are voting on dankness, not popularity. You can argue about memes in replies to top-level comments. After about two weeks, we will choose the 16 top memes that were voted on in this post to move to the next stage (brackets). This part is delayed to help with recency bias.How does Meme of the Month work?After 16 memes are picked, they will all be put into an elimination bracket (that will be pinned on the subreddit), and all users will be able to vote for the memes they think are the dankest for 24 hours. Every day, the remaining memes will move to the next stage of the bracket and will be voted on again.
